An astrologer that starts from your chart, not a script
Most astrology content online is written for a twelfth of humanity at a time: everything filed under your Sun sign, no matter where your Moon, Ascendant, or Saturn actually are. An astrologer — human or AI — is different because they look at your chart first and speak second.
That is the standard MySkyChart is built around. Your chart is computed from your birth data with the Swiss Ephemeris, down to the exact degree of every planet, house cusp, and aspect. The AI reads from that chart. When it tells you about your Venus, it is your Venus — its sign, its house, the aspects it makes — not a horoscope column's Venus.
The result reads less like content and more like a consultation: specific claims, tied to specific placements, that you can verify against your own chart wheel as you learn to read it.
Every placement, explained in plain language
The core of the experience is interpretation you can actually use. Each placement in your chart gets named precisely and then unpacked in everyday English: what a 4th-house Moon tends to feel like from the inside, why a Mercury–Neptune square blurs and gifts your thinking at the same time, what it means that your chart ruler sits in your 10th house.
Readings come in three tiers: a free Light reading covering your chart's core, a Full reading ($15) that works through every placement, and an Expert reading ($35) that adds aspect patterns and whole-chart synthesis. All are delivered in-app and downloadable as HTML or PDF. No subscription — each reading is a one-time purchase for a specific chart.
Ask follow-up questions — the chat knows your chart
Reading about your placements always raises questions: "OK, but what does that mean for my job situation?" "Why do I keep doing this in relationships?" On paid tiers, you can ask. The chat is chart-aware: your exact placements are in front of it for every answer, so responses cite your chart the way an astrologer across the table would.
Here is an example of the kind of exchange this makes possible (illustrative — your answers will reflect your own chart):
- Example question: "I'm thinking about leaving a stable job to freelance. What does my chart say about how I handle career risk?"
- Example answer: "Your chart suggests you build security through mastery rather than leaps. Saturn in Virgo in the 10th house points to a career built on demonstrable competence and steady reputation — you tend to distrust shortcuts, and others trust you because of it. That Saturn is trine your Sun, which softens the usual Saturn anxiety: discipline comes fairly naturally rather than feeling like punishment. But your Mars in Sagittarius in the 2nd house wants income tied to freedom and growth, and it squares that Virgo Saturn — so the tension you're feeling between safety and independence is written into the chart, not a sign something is wrong. Traditionally this combination favors a staged exit over a leap: build the freelance base while employed, let Saturn keep a floor under Mars."
- Note: this is a written example for illustration, not output about your chart.
Why evidence-based answers matter
Notice what the example answer does: every claim is pinned to a placement you can check. Saturn in Virgo in the 10th, trine the Sun, square a 2nd-house Mars — you can open your chart wheel and find each one. That verifiability is the difference between astrology as a thinking tool and astrology as vague reassurance.
It also makes the chat a genuinely good way to learn astrology. Because answers keep citing placements, you gradually absorb how chart logic works — which house means career, what a square does that a trine does not — with your own chart as the textbook. Most people find that far stickier than reading abstract definitions.
And the honest caveats still apply: this is interpretation in the astrological tradition, offered for self-reflection. The AI will not predict your future, pick your stocks, or diagnose your health — and answers about difficult placements are framed as tensions to work with, not verdicts.

Frequently asked questions
Does the AI actually know my chart?
Yes. Your chart is calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris from your birth data, and the AI is given your exact placements — signs, houses, degrees, and aspects — when writing readings and, on paid tiers, when answering your chat questions. Answers cite your actual placements.
Is the chat included in the free tier?
Chart-aware chat is a paid-tier feature, included with Full ($15) and Expert ($35) readings. The free tier includes your complete calculated chart and the Light reading.
How is this different from a horoscope app?
Horoscopes are written per Sun sign — one text for a twelfth of everyone. Here, everything is generated from your individual chart: your exact degrees, houses, and aspects. Two people with the same Sun sign get genuinely different readings and different chat answers.
Can I ask about anything?
You can ask about your chart and your life through its lens — career themes, relationship patterns, timing, self-understanding. The AI keeps its answers grounded in astrological interpretation and won't provide medical, legal, or financial advice, or claim to predict fixed outcomes.
Is an AI astrologer as good as a human one?
Different strengths. The AI is consistent, covers every placement without running out of time, and is available whenever you are — at a fraction of consultation prices. A seasoned human astrologer brings live judgment and client experience. We aim to be the best possible version of the first, not an imitation of the second.
