What MySkyChart is

MySkyChart is a birth chart calculator and AI reading service designed for beginners. The astronomy underneath is the same engine professionals use: Swiss Ephemeris computes every planetary position, house cusp, angle, and aspect in your chart deterministically, to the arcminute. On top of those computed placements, an AI astrologer writes readings in plain English — no jargon walls, no assuming you already know what a trine is.

That combination is the whole idea. Plenty of sites can calculate an accurate chart, and plenty of books can explain astrology in general. We built MySkyChart for the gap in between: understanding what your specific placements mean, explained clearly, grounded in the actual math. We are also honest about what we are not. We are not a professional astrology research platform, we do not claim our interpretations are the final word on your chart, and we do not dress up entertainment as clinical certainty. How interpretations are built

Our readings are generated by a structured LLM pipeline, not a single free-form prompt. The pipeline starts from your computed chart data — the exact placements, houses, and aspects Swiss Ephemeris produced — and generates interpretation text grounded in those placements. Validation and guard layers check the output before you see it, so the reading stays tied to what is actually in your chart.

The boundary is strict: the AI writes prose about placements it is given. It never calculates a position, never adjusts one, and never invents one. If a reading mentions your Moon sign, that sign came from the ephemeris, not from the language model. Users rate readings after receiving them, and those ratings feed our ongoing quality work.

Your data, in plain words

We would rather earn trust by showing our work than by asking you to take our word for it.
